Regardless, it's mildly amusing and creative.

This is pretty average in the bigger picture, BUT very fwd thinking for a bank.

I doubt a brand like nintendo would give license to use one of there most recognizable characters to promote a bank. Given that this is not a parody of the character but the actual character I imagine if I was a brand custodian I would be pissed off. And given NAB are a bank suing won't be out of the question. I agree though that its forward thinking I just think its a bit naff to think a consumer would make this. I don't take offence to it being posted just that its been posted under false presences .

I have a fine bank. I trust them. I like them. I would never EVER make Mario talk about their Fiscal Year End. I call shenanigans of the highest order.

This is neither consumer generated nor created by the NAB. This piece was used as part of a series student presentations at a Melbourne University. Each student team focused on the success, failures and results of 1 of 6 Australian based corporations.
The clip is not intended to act as advertising, but rather an innovative commentary on the hurdles, strategies and end result. The target audience was Gen Y.
