Description

Ogilvy Beijing is growing 20% year on year and is now already the largest Ogilvy office in Asia. We recently won all the interactive business on Motorola for China and are getting more and more briefs for North Asia (Greater China, Korea and Japan) and even for worldwide projects. All print and outdoor ads that you see around the globe are already done by us in Beijing. We are working as a fully integrated team where ideas come from anywhere. We are very fortnate to have a client that lets us work with some of the best creative talent in the world, e.g. all photographs are taken by either Platon or Dimitri Danilov (playstation ads), and we are facing more and more video shoots with and without celebrities such as Jay Chou (Top Asian Popstar), Beckham, Dolce & Gabana. We also started to produce websites with third party agencies such as North Kingdom, which is a first for Asia.

Now we need some help to support our regional and worldwide projects.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a senior art-based person (Senior Art Director, ACD or even CD) with a minimum of 5 years interactive advertising experience. The candidate must have worked in top agencies, must have produced cutting-edge and award winning online campaigns for big clients. He/she needs to be fluent in English, a good communicator, work independently, have a good understanding of integrated branding campaigns, should have worked with interactive production houses, must have good contacts in the industry, ideally has some Asia experience, can sell to top level clients, must be able to constantly push the standards, think around the corner and come up with a constant stream of innovative ideas, take team's work to the next level, win a gold lion in Cannes for Motorola.

The position is based in Beijing, but requires frequent travel to Seoul and Tokyo and likely to US. Apart from a great team and a great gig on a great client, there are a thousand other reasons to apply for that job, e.g. the coming Beijing Olympics, mad club-nights in Tokyo, watching 36 mobile TV channels in Korea, Karaoke in Shanghai etc
