Host seeks Junior Flash Developer

Job Description
The Junior Flash Developer is responsible for the development of games, user interfaces, banner ads, websites, presentation materials, applications, e-learning and computer-based training. You should have at least 1 year's professional experience as a Flash Developer/Designer or be able to demonstrate ability through examples of work/experimentation.

Skills Overview
You possess a good level of programming experience, with a particular focus on Actionscript. In addition, the role requires experience with animation, sound, video and graphic design techniques.

Technical skills

  • Required
  • Good level Actionscript 2/3
  • XHTML
  • CSS
  • XML
  • Bitmap and vector graphics applications (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Video Compression (ex Sorenson squeeze)

    Preferable

  • Knowledge of OO coding practices.
  • Knowledge of server-side scripting and integration,

    General skills

  • Ability to follow a brief.
  • Ability to follow best practice conventions.
  • Ability to debug and work with legacy projects.
  • Proactive in researching emerging techniques and technologies related to the position and be able to implement them.
  • Attention to detail.
