Wunderman seeks Digital Designer


Wunderman Melbourne is part of the Wunderman Global Network - and one of the largest global digital offerings.

In Melbourne, we're looking for a midweight (3+ years experience) to provide a key role within the agency, as it grows. Ideally someone with 3+ years experience in designing for the screen with experience in eDM's, Banner design, and site design as well as the flexibility for bespoke specialized projects. It's an important role for us as we develop the offering within the agency, working across diverse range of projects and clients - from Automotive, FMCG and utilities.


The Digital Designer is an experienced design professional who has achieved real outcomes within the Digital Advertising industry. Digital designers work with creative, creative tech, production, and accounts teams developing progressive, visual and interactive solutions into Agency projects and aiding in the identification of new solutions and approaches as the digital space evolves.

The primary focus of this position is to develop design solutions - from concept to outcome - exercising new and innovative solutions within a digital platform, including (but not limited to): digital advertising, Online content (sites, microsites, footage, etc) and other interactive media (Ambient, kiosk etc).


  • Work collaboratively in the broader agency team.
  • Work on multiple design initiatives across a range of client requirements.
  • Insure integration of brand and design consistency on all interactive projects.
  • Provide visual brand understanding to internal and when necessary external clients.
  • Work on proactive concept/design projects as required.
  • Assist in management of freelance and junior designers.


  • Strong design ability within the digital space.
  • Be able to integrate ideas across multiple platforms within the digital space.
  • Ability to interpret and develop visual solutions to concepts.
  • Ability to work closely with creative tech (developer) team or individuals
  • Work collaboratively across the creative department (conceptual, digital & print)
  • Excellent design layout skills and solid understanding of branding.
  • Fluent use of Adobe Creative Suite CS3 and Motion editing software.
  • Actionscript understanding to current commercial digital standard.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong organisational and management skills.


  • You have progressive, innovative and leading-edge digital ideas.
  • Fluency in Photoshop, Flash and the other generic web design tools.
  • Active engaged in the digital community.
  • An up-to-date understanding of emerging technology
  • You can envision creative ways to leverage online ideas and technologies.
  • Able to integrate the big idea through to the digital space.
