I like the end result of the MINI banner but the HP one feels more polished. Both of these were published on a page by a disgruntled designer who felt ripped off.

I was the writer on the HP banner idea. We started with the idea of the ink drop for the whole campaign (there was print and radio too).

Erik Natzke developed our interactive work. He shared the banner with the Crispin Interactive CD. Apparently, then, Crispin developed the Mini version. I know the sequence of events and so does Natzke. Ours was first. I don't think there's any need to make a huge deal out of it but it was pretty uncool.
